Termites can cause extensive structural damage while remaining hidden inside walls, floors, foundations, and other areas of your home, often long before you realize an infestation is present.
Legacy Termite & Pest provides residential termite control, termite inspections, treatments, and ongoing termite protection to help homeowners prevent infestations and protect their property from costly damage.
The Legacy Termite Protection Plan provides year-round protection against subterranean termites. If termites appear after treatment, we’ll retreat the affected area and cover qualifying new termite damage to your home and contents according to the terms of your plan – at no additional cost.
Subterranean termites can enter a home through small cracks and hidden access points, making a termite infestation difficult to detect. If termites return while your Legacy Termite Protection Plan is active, we’ll retreat your home and repair qualifying new subterranean termite damage to the structure and contents.
Your termite protection plan includes a guaranteed fixed annual renewal fee for the first three years. After that, any renewal increases are kept minimal, providing dependable long-term termite protection without unexpected price changes.
Your Legacy Termite Protection Plan can remain in effect for the life of your home. As long as the annual renewal fee is paid and the terms of the plan are maintained, Legacy will not cancel your termite coverage.
If subterranean termites return after your initial treatment, we’ll retreat your home at no additional charge. Our goal is to eliminate active termite infestations and maintain continuous protection for your property.
Regular termite inspections help identify both active termite infestations and conditions that can increase the risk of termite activity, including excess moisture, poor drainage, inadequate ventilation, wood-to-soil contact, and other conducive conditions around the home. Proper drainage and ventilation help reduce moisture, while prevention also includes moisture control and eliminating wood-to-soil contact.
Our trained termite inspectors perform scheduled inspections as part of your protection plan. If you notice possible signs of termites between scheduled visits, we’ll return to inspect your home at no additional cost.
Every property is different, and because termite species vary in behavior and entry patterns—with over 2,600 species of termites worldwide—treatment should never be one-size-fits-all. We evaluate your home’s construction, size, layout, termite activity, and potential entry points, because understanding building construction is essential to pest management decisions about vulnerable areas and the right treatment approach for your property.
Liquid termite treatments create a treated zone around the exterior and foundation of your home. Subterranean termite colonies can range from large local populations to, in some species such as Eastern subterranean termites, colonies of millions, and a single termite colony can contain up to several million individuals. The treatment targets subterranean termites as they travel between their underground colony and the structure, helping eliminate existing termite activity and protect against future infestations. Inspectors often look for shelter tubes, typically about 1/4 inch wide, because they connect the soil to the structure.
Buying or selling a home? A professional termite and wood-destroying insect inspection can identify visible evidence of termite activity or damage and help distinguish it from other pests such as carpenter ants before a real estate transaction is completed.
Legacy Termite & Pest provides thorough real estate termite inspections for home buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and property professionals, and a Termite inspection can also document visible signs such as damaged wood or piles of shed wings when present, helping identify potential termite concerns and providing the documentation required for applicable real estate transactions and lenders.
The best time to begin protecting a new home or building from subterranean termites is before construction is complete.
Our pre-construction termite treatments treat the soil before the foundation is poured or construction is completed. This creates a treated zone beneath and around the structure, helping prevent subterranean termites from gaining access to the building in the future.
