A: First and foremost, when protected by Legacy there is no need to be worried about termites! We have performed a treatment to create a barrier around the home and we are inspecting your home periodically for termite activity. Furthermore, if you were to find active termite damage on your home we would retreat it completely free and repair any damage if you are under a protection plan.

When Are They Most Active?

Termites are most active during what we call “swarm season,” which usually peaks in Arkansas around April or May. This is the time of the year when “swarmers,” a special type of termite that does no damage, leave the colony to try and start new colonies in the surrounding area. However, be aware these types of termites are commonly confused with flying ants. Please refer to the graphic below to identify the key differences between termite swarmers and flying ants.
